DUI Driver Crashes At Renton School After Dropping Off Student
The driver hit a school bus after driving over a sidewalk at the school on Wednesday morning.
RENTON, WA - Police arrested a DUI driver who hit a school bus at Kennydale Elementary School on Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.
The collision happened around 8:30 a.m. at the school along Northeast 27th Street. The driver dropped off a student, and then drove up and over a sidewalk, over a bike rack, and then into a school bus parked in front of the school.
"Miraculously, no pedestrians were struck during this collision event especially since it was during the peak drop-off time for students," police wrote in a NextDoor post.
