Elderly Driver's Car Hit With Fire Extinguisher; Renton Police Seek 2 Suspects

RENTON, WA - Police say two men threw a fire extinguisher from an upper floor of a parking garage, which landed on an elderly driver's car - and police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspects.

The police are saying the incident amounts to assault. The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday at a garage near the intersection of South 2nd Street and Logan Avenue South. The city's park-and-ride garage is located on the southeast corner of that intersection.

The elderly driver was not hurt, but was very shaken, police say. They were driving along South 2nd when the fire extinguisher hit the car, smashing the windshield.
