Emergency Paving Will Partially Close NE 3rd In Renton

RENTON, WA — Renton road crews will be performing emergency asphalt repair along Northeast 3rd Street almost all day Friday, and that requires the closing of one westbound lane.

The work kicks off at 9 a.m. and will last until 3:30 p.m. The work spans Blaine Avenue to Bronson Way Northeast. That's the stretch just east of I-405.

This is the same stretch of road that was closed on April 18 for emergency stormwater line work. City crews had to repair a stormwater line that was about 4 feet underneath the westbound lanes along NE 3rd. All westbound lanes were closed during that work.
