Bartell Drugs’ “Health & Beauty Event” at Fairwood store celebrates healthy and beautiful living

Bartell Drugs celebrates healthy and beautiful living during its “Health & Beauty Week” September 30-October 6 at select Bartell’s locations in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. Activities will include health clinics, free beauty “mini makeovers” and Conair hair styling demonstrations.

The Fall “Health & Beauty Event” schedule for the Bartell’s Fairwood store, located at 17254 140th Ave SE, Renton, includes:

• September 30, 10 am to 4:30 pm:  Mobile Digital Mammography Screenings in conjunction with Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. Visit www.evergreenhospital.org/mammography or www.bartelldrugs.com for scheduling and other information.

• October 6, 10am-2pm:  Health Clinic--free of charge or at discounted fees. Services include diabetes services, cholesterol testing, and osteoporosis screenings.

• October 6, 10am-1pm:  Cosmetic Demonstrations—free of charge. Cosmetologists will give free “mini makeovers” that focus on the latest colors and products for Fall. Products include newest offerings from Cover Girl, L’Oreal and Neutrogena.

• October 6, 2-5pm:  Hair styling tips by Conair®—free of charge. Representatives will spotlight the latest hair styling tools and tips.
