Black History Month Event: African Folktales at the Renton History Museum

Have you ever wondered why the zebra has black stripes, or why the tortoise has a cracked shell? Storyteller Kunle Oguneye's folktales provide answers to these and other mysteries. Mr. Oguneye, an award-winning author, will dramatize tales from his native Africa with music, drumming, dancing, and storytelling. Kids have the chance to actively participate and even learn a few words of Swahili!

Audience: kindergarten through adult. $1 kids / $3 adults / members always free
