HOME Program’s Triple Threat Theatre Presents Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance

What happens when a rollicking band of pirates, a bevy of
beautiful maidens, and a smitten nursemaid try to battle for the heart and appeal to the duty of the dashing young pirate apprentice, while a cast of comical cops and a modern Major General try to keep things in “order”?  The answer is the charmingly witty and silly
adventure PIRATES OF PENZANCE.

Triple Threat Theatre is a musical theatre program at the
HOME Program in the Renton School District. It is made up of a talented group of 8-17 year olds who have also been seen in a variety of other local theatre productions including Village Theatre’s All
Shook Up
and Footloose, Seattle Children’s Theatre Seussical Jr. and Once on this Island, Hi-liner’s Les Miserables and 5th Avenue
Theatre’s Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and A Christmas Story. This program is funded by the district, the community, and the support of the PAT (parent partnership) team, a 501 3(c) at the HOME program. This is the program’s seventh  year in production.  It is dedicated to developing young artists and performers by offering education and training opportunities in the classroom and on stage.  Previous productions include You’re a Good Man Charlie
