"Kids Are Our Business" Luncheon

King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC) "Kids Are Our Business" fundraising luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 27th at the Renton Pavilion Event Center. This will be an important time as we reflect on how far we have come over the past 35 years as well as look to the future of KCSARC, and we are honored to have you a part of that journey.

KCSARC's purpose is to alleviate, as much as
possible, the trauma of sexual assault for victims and their families. The organization's mission is to give voice to victims, their families, and the community; create change in beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors about violence;
and instill courage for people to speak out about sexual assault. KCSARC's victim services (in English & Spanish) include a 24-hour resource line, medical and legal advocacy, individual and group therapy and parent education. KCSARC also delivers an array of sexual assault prevention workshops and programs, including groundbreaking work with communities coping with returning sex offenders and a teen cybersafety project. Last year, KCSARC served over 2,700 victims and an additional 2,400 individuals through prevention and community advocacy.
