After successful businessman Richard LeMieux lost his livelihood, his family, and his home, he found himself living out of his minivan and eating at “Sally’s”—what the homeless call the Salvation Army’s soup kitchen in Bremerton. Writing on picnic tables in parks around the city, LeMieux used a discarded typewriter to describe his moving experience of life on the street in Breakfast at Sally's, One Homeless Man's Inspirational Journey. Join us at the Renton Library to meet Richard LeMieux as he discusses his experiences and answers questions. Books will be available for sale at this event.
