Fire Devastates Mobile Homes In Skyway
The fire broke out late Tuesday night at a mobile home park south of Seattle.
SKYWAY, WA - A three-alarm fire devastated a mobile home park in Skyway late Tuesday night. The fire destroyed three mobile homes, and a woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the Skyway fire department.
Early Wednesday morning, the King County Sheriff's Office determined that the cause of the fire was accidental.
Some 60 firefighters responded to put out the fire, including firefighters from Renton and Tukwila. Two displaced families were being helped by the Red Cross. Skyway fire spokesman Dave Nelson said that four adults and four children were displaced in the fire.

The fire broke out at the Empire View Mobile Home Park, which is located on a hillside between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and I-5.
