Seahawks Training Facility Evacuated After Reports Of Smoke
Renton firefighters responded to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton on reports of smoke Tuesday.

RENTON, WA - Renton firefighters responded to the Seattle Seahawks' Virginia Mason Athletic Center training facility in Renton on reports of smoke Tuesday. Reports of smoke first came in around 3:45 p.m. and fire crews were on scene investigating. By 4 p.m., firefighters said they had found no signs of smoke or fire inside the building.
Renton police reported the VMAC, which is located along the shoreline of Lake Washington, had been evacuated during the investigation.
