Gunfire Erupts In Renton Neighborhood, 1 Injured
The shooting happened just after midnight Tuesday off of Talbot Road, police say.

RENTON, WA - Police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that happened Monday night in a residential neighborhood off of Talbot Road. The shooting happened just before midnight Monday when a car drove up to a home and opened fire, spraying dozens of bullets. One person was hit, but not seriously injured, police said.
The incident happened along the 600 block of South 53rd Place near Talbot Road South. The area where the shooting happened is a street packed with newer homes that ends in a cul-de-sac. Police said there were eight people in the home that was shot, and they told police they did not know why they were targeted. One person in the home was shot in the leg and was taken to Valley Medical Center for treatment.
More than 35 shell casings were found at the scene, police said. Police do not have any suspects, but anyone with information can contact Renton police at 425-430-7535.
