'Heavily Involved' House Fire In Renton Leaves 1 Injured
One person was being treated for burns after a fire in a home Sunday morning.

RENTON, WA - A three-story home with eight people living in it caught fire around 8 a.m. Sunday near downtown Renton. A woman was burned in the fire and taken to Harborview, and firefighters largely had the fire under control by 9:30 a.m.
Renton Deputy Chief Roy Gunsolus said fire units arrived on scene around 8:20 a.m. The home, located west of the airport, is up a steep hill in a remote area, which made getting water to the fire difficult. Gunsolus said firefighters had to use some 3,000 feet of fire hose to get water on the fire.
Fire officials believe residents were stealing electricity, which may be factor in the fire. A fire investigator is interviewing one person who witnessed the fire, Gunsolus said, but there no determinations have been made about the cause.
