2 Detained After High Speed Chase On SR 167 (UPDATE)
Renton police chased a car theft suspect all the way to Kent on Thanksgiving morning.
RENTON, WA - Two people involved in a high-speed chase with Renton police Thanksgiving morning have been detained, police said.
Police said a suspect hit a Renton police officer around 8 a.m., setting off the chase.
The suspect drove down SR 167 into Kent, where he ditched his vehicle. The stolen vehicle has since been recovered. The K-9 track has ended and perimeter units are clearing the area.

Multiple officer involved vehicle pursuit on southbound 167 at approx. 0812 hours after Renton Officer Vehicle rammed by confirmed stolen vehicle. Pursuit continued into Kent where K9 perimeter has been set. Updates to follow. AO
