Hit-And-Run In Renton Slows Traffic Along I-405
A "serious" hit-and-run collision happened Saturday afternoon at the SR 167 and I-405 interchange.

RENTON, WA - Washington State Patrol reported a serious hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles Saturday evening at the I-405 and SR 167 interchange. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-405, and state patrol was warning drivers expect heavy delays in the area. The crash was first reported just after 6 p.m. Saturday.
State police said five people were injured in the crash and taken to area hospitals. The accident occurred when an unknown vehicle changed lanes and struck a 1996 Toyota Camry, which lost control and hit the barrier. The Camry was then struck by a 1994 GMC Yukon. The unknown vehicle fled the scene, according to police.
The case is currently under investigation.
