I-405 Backed Up To Renton Due To Crash
The crash happened near Lake Washington Boulevard in Newcastle, but traffic was backed up far south of there.
BELLEVUE, WA - An accident in the northbound lanes of I-405 near Lake Washington Boulevard in Newcastle had traffic backed up all the way to Renton. The travel time between Bellevue and Renton currently stands at 54 minutes, according to WSDOT.
The crash happened about 1/2 mile north of the 44th Street exit. The crash is in the right lane of I-405 and HOV travel times are about 10 minutes faster.
