Image Of Car Used In Violent Renton Home Invasion Released
Do you recognize these cars? They were used by suspects who carried out a violent home invasion near Renton last month.
RENTON, WA — King County investigators have released images of two cars connected to a violent home invasion near Renton last month. During the robbery, the three suspects stole a woman's cancer medication and pistol-whipped her husband.
The home invasion happened near 9 p.m. on March 4 at a home along Southeast 141st Place near Maplewood Park. A husband, wife, and their two teenage sons were home when the three suspects broke into the home.
The three masked men demanded cash and methamphetamine. The woman told them to take a safe full of her cancer medication. Meanwhile, the men pistol-whipped the husband and held a gun to the two teens. The men made off with cash, the cancer medications, and cell phones.

Police have since found surveillance images of the cars used to commit the crime (both pictured above). The sedan was used to get away from the scene of the crime, while the SUV was used to case the family's neighborhood days before the home invasion, police said.
