International Women Build Day Supports Habitat For Humanity
Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County will hold a special day of work on March 8.
RENTON, WA - Habitat For Humanity of King County: Women from across King County will come together on Friday, March 8th for the Lowes Women Build Day to support Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County.
Sponsored nationally and locally by Lowe’s, Women Build Day is an opportunity for volunteers to devote their time during the day to help Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County advance its mission of building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
“By volunteering during our Lowes Women Build Day, you’ll not only change Habitat homeowners’ lives. You’ll change yours,” said Brett D’Antonio, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County. “You’ll join other women leaders in this unforgettably impactful event. You’ll also revitalize your confidence to wield construction tools in basic building skills training before building on site. And you’ll boost your sense of accomplishment as you network with other powerful women to help others.”
