King County Closes Renton Chinese Restaurant
Health inspectors found multiple "red critical" violations, according to King County Public Health.
RENTON, WA - County health inspectors closed the Gourmet Wok Chinese restaurant Friday, citing multiple health code violations totaling 90 "red critical" points.
Gourmet Wok, 1630 Duvall Ave. Northeast, will likely reopen once the restaurant owners fix the violations. The restaurant was, until Friday, rated "good" on the county's rating system.
Inspectors on Friday found that Gourmet Wok's refrigerator was malfunctioning, and that "potentially hazardous foods" were being kept at unsafe temperatures, according to King County.

Online reviews for Gourmet Wok are mixed, although some reviewers have recommended the restaurant as a good place to watch a Seahawks game.
