King County Sheriff Launches New Smartphone App
The mobile app for Androids and iPhones allows users to submit tips, file reports, receive alerts and find other information.

KING COUNTY, WA — The King County Sheriff's Office has released a new smartphone app, offering residents an easy way to access information, file reports, submit tips and sign up for public safety alerts. The free app has also sections to lookup inmate information, read official news releases and search for COVID-19 resources.

"Open and accurate communication are the fundamentals of transparency, which in turn builds trust with the communities we serve," said King County Sheriff Mitzi Johanknecht. "Our new mobile app gives us a better way to alert, inform and prepare the public. We even have weather alerts."
The sheriff's office said residents can find the app in Apple's App Store or on Google Play by searching "King Sheriff WA."
