The Lindbergh boys (12-10) basketball team are one loss away from not returning to the 2A State tournament after losing to league rival Foster Friday night, 44-33. The Eagles will face Steilacoom, 4 p.m. Saturday at Lakes High School.
The winner of the game will secure the final seed into next week's 2A West Central District Tournament, the loser goes home. Lindbergh's overall record improved by one win Thursday after the WIAA ruled the game against Kent-Meridian. The Royals used an ineligible player.
The Lindbergh girls (10-12) will advance to the 2A WCD tournament with their 41-37 win over Foster. The win gives the Eagles a sixth seed and will face the Olympic League's #3 seed in a loser out game on February 12.

The Hazen boys (7-13) and girls (8-12) basketball teams will play their one game playoff Saturday at Auburn Mountainview High School. The boys play Decatur at 11 a.m. and the girls follow against Bonney Lake at 12:45 p.m.
The winner of the games will be the district's fifth seed into the 3A West Central District tournament.
