Mail Your Ballot Before Snow Hits, King County Warns
More snow is coming. King County Election is advising you vote before it does.

RENTON, WA - More snow is headed to the Seattle area, and it might start as soon as Thursday night. King County Elections is asking voters to mail ballots before the worst of it to avoid any delays.
Remember, ballots are free to mail. All you have to do is fill it out and drop it in a box. Forecasts are showing the potential for serious snow starting on Friday and lasting pretty much through Election Day on Feb. 12.

King County Elections is urging voters to return their ballots for the February 12 Special Election as soon as possible due to inclement weather expected across the region on Election Day.
The National Weather Service is forecasting another winter storm later this week and into next week. To avoid potential delays with the US Postal Service, voters are strongly advised to mail their ballots as early as possible or to use one of 40 ballot drop boxes open for this election.

Ballots include pre-paid postage so voters do not need a stamp to return their ballots. Ballots must be postmarked by February 12 or returned to a drop box by 8 p.m. Election Day.
