1 Person Dies In Renton Car Crash Along 169
Police were investigating the cause of the accident, which happened near the city community center.

RENTON, WA - One person died in a car crash that happened near 2:30 p.m. along State Road 169 near the Renton Community Center, fire officials said.
Fire Chief Rick Marshall said that the accident involved one car, which left the road and struck a light poll. Fire crews were able to extricate the driver, but the person did not survive. Police were still on the scene near 3 p.m. investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Officials are warning drivers to expect significant delays in the area.
