Man Assaults Elderly Woman In SeaTac, Police Seek Witnesses
The 83-year-old woman was physically and sexually assaulted Thursday afternoon, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

SEATAC, WA - An 83-year-old woman was brutally attacked in her room at a SeaTac assisted living facility, the King County Sheriff's Office is reporting. The attack happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday along the 21200 block of International Boulevard. The Falcon Ridge assisted living facility is located at that address, and the single-story facility contains 60 living units.
The victim told police that she was alone in her room when a man - described as 5’8" and slender with a strong build - removed the screen from her window and climbed in. The suspect hit the woman, throttled her, and then sexually assaulted her, police said.
After the assault was over, the suspect told the woman not to say anything as he left through the window. She waited several minutes before calling for help. The woman is in the hospital having suffered serious head wounds in addition to trauma from the sexual assault, police said.

The suspect was wearing a black and white shirt, black pants, and a black skull cap at the time of the assault, according to the victim.
