Shooting Outside Renton Hotel Leaves 1 Man Hospitalized
Police said a 27-year-old man was shot several times but is expected to survive.
RENTON, WA — Renton detectives are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 27-year-old man hospitalized with several gunshot wounds. Police said the 911 call came in just after 2 a.m., reporting shots fired at a hotel on the 1700 block of East Valley Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man in a parking lot who had been shot several times, police said. The victim told investigators he did not know the person who shot him. Police said he was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is expected to survive.
The Renton Police Department said Thursday that no further information was available, and a description of the shooting suspect has not been released.
