Man Killed In Renton Beating, Shooting Identified
The 21-year-old victim died Friday night in a parking lot off Sunset Boulevard Northeast.

RENTON, WA - The 21-year-old man who died after being shot and beaten on Friday night in Renton has been identified. Jason Hobbs Jr. died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the King County Medical Examiner.
The killing happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday along the 900 block of Aberdeen Avenue Northeast, just east of I-405. Police and firefighters tried to resuscitate Hobbs, but he was dead at the scene.
Police believe that two other men may have carried out the killing. The suspects left the scene in a vehicle, but police did not release a description.

Hobbs was about to become a father, according to a fundraiser set up for him. His friends and family are trying to raise $5,000 to pay for his funeral.
"I'm sure you can just imagine the traumatic experience everyone is dealing with. The funeral expenses are increasing and with a new baby on the way we are in hopes to have enough funds to lay him to rest," the fundraiser appeal reads.
