Man Steals 91-Year-Old's Purse In Renton, Goes Shopping: Police

RENTON, WA - Can you help Renton police catch a thief who stole from a 91-year-old woman?

According to police, the man swiped the woman's purse from the downtown Fred Meyer after she accidentally left it behind.

The man took the whole purse, and went shopping with the woman's credit card at Wal-Mart, Safeway, and Nordstrom, according to surveillance images. The man was joined on his shopping trip by a young woman. They shopped until the credit card was canceled.

The thief is described as 25 to 30, 5’ 8” to 5’ 9”, and 150 to 160 pounds. He was seen leaving the Fred Meyer in a white Honda Accord with temporary tags taped to the rear window.
