Maple Valley Cigar Shop Sold Drugs, Alcohol To Kids, Say Police
King County deputies raided the cigar shop along Southeast 237th Street on Friday.

MAPLE VALLEY, WA — The King County Sheriff's Office raided a Maple Valley cigar shop on Friday after an investigation into underage drug and alcohol sales there.
Police investigated the Cigar Land shop along Southeast 237th Street for two months before the raid. The store's 29-year-old manager was the target of the investigation. Police believe he sold alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and illegal drugs to kids.
During the raid, police found cocaine and ecstasy, and cannabis products that the store was not licensed to sell. There were also three underage kids in the store trying to buy tobacco when police entered.

The store manager was arrested on felony drug charges. The state Liquor and Cannabis Board, which assisted with the investigation, closed the store after the raid.
