Metro Bus Hits Pedestrian In Renton Highlands Area

RENTON, WA – A King County Metro bus hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Northeast 4th Street and Union Avenue Northeast on Monday morning, police are reporting.

Renton Police said that the pedestrian sustained minor injuries, but was transported to Valley Medical Center for evaluation. The incident had closed the two westbound lanes of Northeast 4th Street Monday morning. The accident happened near 8 a.m.

According to Metro maps, the 111 and 908 buses run along that stretch of Northeast 4th Street.
