Motorcyclist Dies In Rainier Avenue Crash: Police
The motorcyclist was allegedly trying to pass a car along a narrow stretch of Rainier Avenue when he lost control of his bike.

SEATTLE, WA - A 52-year-old motorcyclist died Friday night in a crash along Rainier Avenue between Seattle and Renton. The crash was first reported around 7:15 p.m. Friday, and happened along the 10500 block of Rainier Avenue South, which is in the Lakeridge neighborhood along the shore of Lake Washington.
According to the King County Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist tried to pass a car using the bike lane and lost control of his motorcycle. That stretch of Rainier Avenue is two lanes with a center turning lane and marked with bike lanes on either side.
