New opportunities brewing in Renton for GEICO

GEICO has expanded its claims operation in Renton and plans to hire hundreds of new associates during the next 18 months.

GEICO has expanded its business and recently moved to a new office in Renton to accommodate the company’s steady growth. Plans call for adding 200 new associates at the Renton claims center during the next 18 months.

You don’t have to be a claims expert to apply because of GEICO’s top training programs. But, GEICO asks that applicants have the sincere desire to help customers after they’ve had an accident or suffered a loss.

Mike Quesada, manager of GEICO’s Greater Seattle claims office in Renton, said that there are more than 400,000 GEICO insured vehicles in the state and they represented a clear opportunity to expand. “Now, we are no doubt well-positioned to handle increased volumes of claims as we continue to gain market share in Washington,” Quesada said.

Tony Oeun, who recently joined the GEICO Renton team as a claims representative, said that so far into his new job, he is thoroughly impressed with GEICO’s dedication to the community as well as its associates. “Whether it is through the tuition reimbursement program or its ability to motivate associates, GEICO has provided a positive image to the Seattle/Renton region,” Oeun said.
