Child Hit By Car At Renton Safeway [Update]
The child was riding in a shopping cart when a car ran into it.

RENTON, WA - A child riding in a shopping cart was hit by a car at the Fairwood Safeway in Renton Wednesday morning. A car going about 10 MPH hit the shopping cart, but the child did not fall out, according to fire officials.
Fire department medics treated the girl at the scene and she was released minor injuries.
The Fairwood Safeway is on the east side of Renton near the intersection of Petrovitsky and 140th Avenue Southeast.
