Photos Of Renton Bank Robber Released, Police Seek ID
Police believe this man robbed the Banner Bank along Rainier Avenue South on Monday.
RENTON, WA - The Banner Bank along Rainier Avenue South was robbed Monday by a lone man, and police have released surveillance images in the hopes of identifying him. The robbery happened around 1:15 Monday at the bank, which is located near the intersection with Airport Way.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank, implied he was carrying a gun, and then asked the teller for large bills only. After getting the cash, the man walked away from the bank heading south.
The suspect is described as an older man with gray hair and a goatee; he is approximately 5'7" tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white hoodie, blue jacket, baseball hat, and sunglasses.
