Small Cessna Crash-Lands At Renton Airport
The two-seat plane had a partial landing gear failure Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

RENTON, WA — A two-seat Cessna crash-landed Tuesday afternoon at Renton Municipal Airport, but neither of the two people inside the plane were hurt, the airport said.
The crash was first reported around 3 p.m. Tuesday by Renton firefighters. The plane's landing gear apparently failed during landing. The people riding in the plane had gotten out by the time firefighters arrived.
The airport was closed during the emergency response. Renton firefighters and firefighters from the Boeing plant both responded to the scene. The plane involved was a Cessna 150 model, which is one of the most common personal-use planes in the world. That model has not been in production since the mid-1970s, however.
