Renton School Locked Down As Police Search For Suspect
Police were active along Sunset Boulevard Wednesday morning looking for a suspect.
RENTON, WA - There was heavy police activity in the vicinity of Sunset Boulevard east of I-405 Wednesday morning. Police were searching for a suspect using K9 units, and residents were warned to avoid the area.
The search was taking place along the 900 block of Aberdeen Avenue North, which is where Aberdeen intersects with Sunset Boulevard. The suspect was wearing black pants and a black shirt and was seen running through backyards.
Honeydew Elementary was placed on lock-down during the search, police said.
