Police ID Suspect In Renton Shooting

Police are searching for Jamie L Kirchman Tureno, 55, in the Wednesday shooting in south Renton.

RENTON, WA - A 59-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in a south Renton home. Renton police have identified the suspect as a 55-year-old woman described as the victim's "associate."

Police and fire responded Wednesday afternoon to a home along 178th Street in the Benson Hill area. Firefighters found the victim at the scene with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center. Police described the victim's injuries as "serious but non-life threatening."

The suspect, Jamie L Kirchman Tureno, was identified by police as a "transient" and she may be armed and dangerous. Police want to arrest Kirchman Tureno on a charge of first-degree assault. If you see her, call 911, but do not approach her.
