Renton Apartments Evacuated Due To Carbon Monoxide
Renton firefighters have evacuated an apartment complex after finding increased levels of carbon monoxide.
RENTON, WA — Renton firefighters have evacuated an apartment complex after high levels of carbon monoxide were found in the air. Fire crews were initially dispatched to the apartments at 95 Burnett Avenue South shortly before 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The first crew on scene determined there was a carbon monoxide exposure and called for a full response, getting some help from fire departments in Skyway and Tukwila.
Firefighters say the entire complex has been evacuated as crews search for the source of the elevated levels.
