Two Renton Accidents Slowing Traffic
There are delays in the downtown area and along I-405.
RENTON, WA - A car-versus-pedestrian accident near 3 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd and Sunset may hamper traffic in the area. One person was transported by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center, but their condition was not known.
Police and and fire officials are on the scene and drivers heading into the area should expect delays.
Near 3:15 p.m., the fire department was responding to a second accident involving a semi-tractor in the southbound lanes of I-405 near the 167 interchange. The accident is reportedly blocking the two right lanes.
