Grave Crime: Mom Targeted While Mourning At Renton Cemetery

RENTON, WA - A pair of thieves stole a purse out of a woman's car as she was busy grieving at her 11-year-old son's grave. Now police want help from the public tracking down the two suspects.

The theft happened on Sept. 4 between 4 and 4:30 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park, 350 Monroe Ave Northeast. The thieves were on the prowl in the cemetery, cruising around in a car looking for victims, according to police.

The mother's purse contained credit cards, which the thieves used to buy over $1,300 worth of items from seven stores in the area. They were caught on camera at a local Target (see images above).
