RENTON, WA — Seattle police detectives arrested a 25-year-old Renton man at his apartment on Wednesday in connection to a Central District shooting earlier this month that left a bystander wounded.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 3 at the Arco gas station at 23rd Avenue and Cherry. The woman was pumping gas when gunfire broke out between two groups of people in two different cars.

After getting shot, the woman drove herself away from the scene. She was able to flag down an ambulance nearby and was later treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury, Seattle police said.
