Renton Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Motorcycle Crash

RENTON, WA - The person killed Sunday night in a crash in Maple Valley has been identified as Renton resident Michael Felhosi, 54. Felhosi's death was ruled an accident by the King County Medical Examiner.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Sunday along Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road near the intersection of Southeast 251st Street. According to the sheriff's office, three motorcyclists were traveling northbound toward Renton when a car pulled out of Southeast 251st across the northbound lane.

Felhosi, who was in the lead, struck the rear part of the car and spun out of control. A second motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Renton, hit the car head on. That person was seriously injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Detectives are investigating allegations from witnesses that the motorcyclists were "driving recklessly" right before the crash.
