On March 3, Munro took two 11-year-olds to the Emerald City Comic Con. After the event, Munro and the children went back to Munro's Renton home. At one point, one of the them allegedly saw Munro performing oral sex on the other. On March 19, an 11-year-old who knew the two told a teaching assistant what he had heard about Munro allegedly did.

"Every time we'd be upstairs for math or study hall he'd be like be very affectionate to the boys in a way that didn't seem OK," the student, named as R.S. in court documents, told authorities.
