Renton Police Find Blood, Shell Casings At Apartment Complex - Still Looking For Witnesses

Renton police responded to an a shooting recently and found a pool of blood and shell casings, but they're looking for witnesses.

RENTON, WA - Police are trying to track down possible witnesses to a recent shooting at an apartment complex that left at least one man with a bullet wound to the neck.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning, but on Wednesday, police released a surveillance video of a group of possible witnesses.

Renton police Cmdr. David Liebman told Patch.com that officers arrived at the Stonebrook Apartments complex, 12210 Southeast Petrovitsky Road, around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on a report of shots fired. They found a large group of people there, plus a pool of blood and a number of shell casings. There were no victims at the scene, however.

Later, police were notified of a man who showed up at the Valley Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the neck. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, but is expected to be OK, Liebman said.
