Renton Police Investigate 2 Sunday Shootings
Renton detectives continue to investigate two separate shootings that left victims hospitalized Sunday morning and evening.
RENTON, WA — Two men were injured in separate shootings Sunday and taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to the Renton Police Department.
Police said the first shooting took place early Sunday morning near the Plum Tree Park Apartments, where officers found a man in his early 20s with serious injuries. Witnesses told police a man in a vehicle pulled up to a group of people, then shot at them several times after "a brief discussion."
The suspect in that shooting fled the area before officers arrived, and police said the victim was unable to speak to officers due to how seriously he was injured.
