Renton Police Search For 2 Men After Paint Store Robbery

Police said one of the men pointed a gun at employees inside a downtown store and demanded cash.

RENTON, WA — The Renton Police Department is looking to the public to help identify two masked suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at the downtown Sherwin Williams paint store.

According to police, two men entered the store on Williams Avenue South on March 8, just before 6:45 p.m. The cashier told investigators one of the men brandished a gun and pointed it at them, demanding cash. The other man showed a gun in his waistband, police said.

  • Suspect 1: White male, described as possibly Hispanic, 25-35 years of age, 5'4-5'5, 140-160 lbs., wearing black clothing, gray beanie w/bill and a face mask.
  • Suspect 2: White male, 25-35 years of age, 5'10-6'0, 200 lbs., wearing a blue/gray hoodie with "Amazon" on the front and a face mask.

Police also published surveillance images in a social media bulletin.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery, or the two men, to e-mail the detective assigned to the case.
