Renton RFA Firefighter Recognized for EMS Instruction Leadership in King County
Renton Regional Fire Authority Engineer Bryan Estibal was recognized during the most recent King County EMS Advisory Committee meeting.
RENTON, WA, 06-22-2026 — Renton Regional Fire Authority (Renton RFA) Engineer Bryan Estibal was recognized during the most recent King County EMS Advisory Committee meeting for his meaningful contributions to the quality of emergency medical services instruction throughout the region.
Estibal spent more than 50 hours developing high-level EMS instruction best practices, which he presented this year to CBT instructors from across King County during evaluator training. His work supports consistent, effective instruction for EMS providers.
During the meeting, Estibal was invited to the front of the room and recognized by King County EMS Division Director Michele Plorde. Those in attendance included chief-level officers, King County EMS Medical Program Director Dr. Rea, and other regional EMS leaders.

“Bryan’s commitment to strengthening EMS instruction reflects the professionalism and dedication we value across our organization,” said Dan Alexander, Deputy Chief of EMS, Health, and Safety at Renton RFA. “King County’s EMS system is recognized far beyond our region for its exceptional standard of care, and for Bryan’s work to stand out in that environment is something we are extremely proud of.”
