Renton Robber Steals Jewelry Worth $20K From Pawn Shop

Can you help Renton police identify this bold robbery?

RENTON, WA - Renton police are trying to identify a man who stole approximately $20,000 in jewels from a local pawn shop recently.

According to police, the thief entered a Cash America and smashed the jewelry counter with a hammer. He then walked out with an armful of jewels. The robbery happened on May 17.

The man is described as being in his 20s with a thin build and about 5'10" tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black jacket, orange bandanna, and a pair of pink surgical gloves.
