Renton Shooting Victim Identified
The 29-year-old man was found dead in a car Sunday near a Renton church.

RENTON, WA - A man shot and killed during an apparent drug deal gone wrong has been identified as Anh Phung, 29, of Renton. Police found Phung dead in a parked car near the Salvation Army Church, 720 S Tobin St.
Phung died of a gunshot wound to the torso and his manner of death was ruled homicide, according to the King County Medical Examiner.
Renton Sgt. Christine Matthews told KOMO the death might be related to a "drug deal gone bad." Police found marijuana in the 29-year-old's car, according to the report.
