Seahawks 12K In Renton Will Close Streets Sunday

RENTON, WA - The Seahawks 12K kicks off Sunday morning in the downtown Renton area. If you aren't running in the race, be prepared for street closures and parking restrictions in the area. The 12K route will take over much of Lake Washington Boulevard south of Newcastle.

In addition to the 12K, there will be a 5K event happening simultaneously, which will affect parts of the downtown area and areas near Renton Municipal Airport. For the full map of both the 12K and 5K routes, click here.

Here's the full schedule for race day:

6:30am to 8:45am – Day of Race Registration and Packet Pick-up
9:00am – Start of Seahawks 12K Run
9:20am – Start of GLOW 5K Run/Walk
10:45am – Start of Seahawks Play 60 Kids Run (open to all kids 10 & under)
11:00am – Post Event Awards Ceremony
11:15am – Seahawks Spirit Contest
11:30am – Post Race Raffle
