Serious Crash Blocking SR 169 In Renton
Multiple police departments are on scene at a motorcycle crash along SR 169.
RENTON, WA - Renton and Bellevue police are responding to the scene of a serious motorcycle crash along SR 169, according to the departments.
The crash happened before 2 p.m. Wednesday near 140th Way Southeast, which is across from the Maplewood Golf Course. The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries, and police have had to close southbound lanes for an investigation - expect backups in the area.
According to Renton fire officials, the rider was thrown over 100 feet during the crash.
