Shooting In Renton: Gunman Jumps On Car, Fires Through Windshield
The shooting happened along Burnett Avenue in the downtown area, according to police.

RENTON, WA - One person was wounded in an overnight shooting along Burnett Avenue in the downtown Renton area. Police first reported the shooting at around 1 a.m. Friday. Police said that the victim was driving in a car along Burnett when the shooting happened, but then drove himself to the McDonald's on Grady Way.
Police later said that the victim, a 33-year-old man from Lynnwood, was attacked when he went to Renton to meet someone. The victim told police that a man jumped on the hood of his car and shot him through the windshield. The victim sustained wounds to the arm and leg, and was bleeding badly when police reached him at the McDonald's.
Burnett Avenue was closed overnight due to the investigation, but had reopened by 6:30 a.m.
